Events and Important Dates

4-H Summer Camp (Camp weeks vary by parish)

  • Contact your parish 4-H office to learn about volunteering at camp!

4-H University (June 17-19, 2025)

  • Have you participated in a demonstration before? Do you like public speaking? How about your zero-turn mower? There are 39 contests in a variety of subject areas!
  • Contact your parish 4-H office to learn about serving as a 4-H University contest coach or overnight chaperone for the event.

4-H Volunteer Conference of Southern States (October 2-5, 2025)

    Volunteers Conference of Southern States welcomes 4-H volunteers and staff from across the world. Hosted by a team of 4-H volunteers and staff, the conference is full of connecting to new friends, workshops in many content areas, and a renewed excitement for serving your programs.
    The conference is hosted onsite at Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, Georgia. Contact Brittany Babineaux if you plan to attend with the Louisiana delegation. Registration opens June 1, 2025.
